Formed in 1993, Guildhall Chambers Portsmouth is a medium sized Barristers' Chambers with an established presence in southern England. Individual barristers' practices encompass more than one specialist field enabling Chambers to offer a choice of Counsel to suit both the professional and lay client's needs. 

Chambers has particular strengths in all aspects of family and children matters, (care proceedings being a speciality), personal injury, employment law, contractual disputes, property law, insolvency and representation in Dangerous Dogs Act matters, but work undertaken is in no way limited to these areas.

In addition to advocacy and court room skills members are adept at drafting complex documentation and providing written advice. 

We have a small but strong criminal defence team which is able to offer cover from first instance in the Magistrates Court through to the highest courts in the land. 

Chambers accepts instructions from numerous government agencies including the CSA, DWP, CPS, UKBA, RCPO, DVLA and Environment Agency.

A further service that we offer is a low cost, fixed fee, paper only Arbitration scheme, with the option of an oral hearing for larger disputes (issue value over £50,000.00) or where the parties so require.
